Giant Rabbit in Space

I don't know what weird mechanism in my brain is cause for my intrigue with giant weird and a bit maniacal giant rabbits, but anyway, here's a great image of one in space. Thanks to Lesley Gunter for this image.

Saucer People Trading Cards: Men in Black, #23

This is Men in Black, card #23, from the Saucer People boxed trading card set from Kitchen Sink Press, 1992. The set has thirty six cards, with comic book style illustration on front, and information about the UFO event or researcher on the back.

"Some believe them to be government agents, others think they are Saucer People."
I love the objectified female in distress; fearful of the Men in Black who are, apparently, being quite rude to her boyfriend. Tight red dress, frightened… who will rescue her? Or will the Men in Black get her?

The info on the back of the card has nothing to do with the image on the front; the story on the back tells us of George Cook, head of the Pennsylvania NICAP group, who had several run-ins with MIB in 1967.

9 Women Who Shaped Science Fiction

I didn't know The Mummy was written by a woman:9 Women Who Shaped Science Fiction

Vintage Space Age Lady

My friend and sister in Forteana Lesley Gunter has been posting some great vintage UFO related images on her Facebook page lately, and I've been happily stealing them from her. I don't know the original sources -- where she's been finding them, but I've been enjoying them. Here's one; a vintage Space Age Lady. Don't know the decade but maybe late 1950s or 1960s?

UFO Magazine - UFO Magazine Blog - Frank Feschino And The Incident At StrangeCreek!

The prolific and well versed Alfred Lehmberg, UFO Magazine contributor, gives us some interesting news concerning one of UFO's famous cases, the Flatwoods Monster encounter:
UFO Magazine - UFO Magazine Blog - Frank Feschino And The Incident At Strange Creek!: Well, the 2014 iteration of the New Year got off to a fast start for researcher Frank Feschino, Jr! He received a phone call from still another witness in West Virginia who claimed, and convincingly, that he may had seen the so-called "Flatwoods Monster" in Braxton County back in September of 1952, too. Verily and meat appears to be on that bone. For Frank, it was a new first-hand witness to personally come forward and speak to him in several years. Frank called me almost immediately and explained the series of events.
.
He explained that this current "Monster" sighting report, according to the eyewitness, did not occur in Flatwoods at the time Mrs. May and the boys saw it on the Fisher Farm at 8:00 pm. Moreover, it did not even occur on the night of September 12, 1952!

Mr. UFO Tim Beckley, on UFO Digest

Timothy Beckley, "Mr. UFO" has been, and continues to be, one of UFO Land's most prolific and over all awesome (yep, I said "awesome") contributors. And writers. And researchers.  Here's an article by Sean Casteel (a writer and researcher in his own right, also "awesome") for UFO Digest on Mr. Beckley.
